A social NetworkEveryone knows that the secret of a successful social network lies with every member of the network contributing to the success of the network. Either it be by uploading pictures, embedding videos, sending friend requests, writing articles or creating a group for every input is important. It provides something new and exciting for the next visitor to see. Content is very important for repeated presentation of good content will keep people returnung. Adult and abusive content will repel visitors.
Now let us assume the world(earth) as a bigger social network where you also make friends, take pictures, create groups and so on. Then I ask, what is your contibution to the success of the world as a social network? What do you do to ensure its success and prosperity.
Are you creating enemies instead of friends? Are you dishing out abuses instead of encourging words? Are you always nude or dressed nude instead of helping others recover from nudity? Are you helping the oppressed or are you the oppressor? Are you a solution or a cause?
The world has so many problems as well as its inhabitants. Everyone got problems. Those problems that can be shared with family. Some that can only be shared with your Pastor or Priest. While there are those problems that it is between you and God.
Sometimes, we wake up and say how did I get into this mess? How did I end up here? How did I let this happen to me for LIFE brings things our way and we don't get to choose which challenge it hands to us, it chooses us instead. The only thing we can do is believe God can bring us through it.
I have come to realise it is not always about casting out demons. Sometimes, we make the wrong decisions. Sometimes, we make the right decisions but things don't just go the right way. Don't ask me what the solution is for if I knew, I wouldn't be where I am today. But sincerely, there really is nothing wrong with how my life is. I sometimes wish things were better but if I or God didn't take me down this road, I will not have the priveledge to write to you. I will not have the wisdom needed to encourage others. I wouldn't be who I am today.
There was a day when I was praying and I was determined to let God know my mind. I was going to let Him know how I really felt about a few things. Yes, another episode of relaying my problems to God.
So, I started my prayer session with praise and worship as usual and then speaking in other tongues. After that, I started with my narration and then the Holy Spirit asked me to write down on a notepad what I think the solutions to my problems were. I did that and He then asked me, "why don't I pray about the solutions instead of always talking about the problems." It is what we talk more about that we magnify. When you talk about your problems often, you magnify it and you will be subdued by fear and doubt in God's ability to deliver you. But when you concentrate on and confess the solution, you are filled with hope and then you overcome depression. This really is a vital point.
Write your challenges down and what you think the solutions are. Also, write down what could happen to you and your life when the solution materialises. Then pray about that daily and watch God do what HE knows how to do best. Watch Him perform miracles. |
