WHEN WILL ALL THE MADNESS END

When will this madness end. Friends waiting for friends before they get serious with God. Friends using other friends' level of righteousness to judge theirs. When, will it all end.
Don't you understand, time is short(1 Cor 7:29) and there is so much to do and you are needed. I will tell you a story.
When I was at secondary school, just before my final exams, my teachers warned my set mates to get serious and be more studious with their books. They would say, "The friends that you can't seem to let go of in order to read won't be present tomorrow. They are going to move on and live their lives and if you fail your exams because you didn't study, it would be your fault." It's even funny remembering for I am certain they knew we regarded them as pests; as individuals that didn't want us to have fun. But if only some of us knew better, we would have paid attention and studied more.

I sincerely, pray that you don't get caught up in such a similar mess regarding your spiritual life and eternity. Time and Life are somehow similar, for you both only get one chance and can return to make amends or alterations.

I have noticed that one of the hindering factors preventing many from becoming Christians, is the fear of peer and social acceptability. The fear of losing the company of friends or either damaging the reputation you had gained over the years as the coolest guy or sexiest girl.
Believe me, when I say its all vanity, stupidity and in time you will realise that. Trust me, I know. I was once there. It was hard at first losing popularity and I remember summing up boldness to tell my friends that I couldn't really hangout with them because I now have different interests. They said," I have started hanging out with the wrong crowd(Christians)". Can you believe it, that they referred to the two dedicated Christian friends I had as wrong and bad influence.

Well, I guess I lost popularity with the world but gained popularity for God instead. It is my ultimate desire that God gets glorified in everything I do (Matthew 5:16).

So what decision are you going make today, still remain mediocre on the devil side or be bold and popular for God?

If you have decide to be popular for God, I congratulate you and encourage you to say the prayer below:-
Lord God Almighty, Merciful and Kind. Forgive me all my sins and wash me with the blood of Jesus. Give me a new life founded on You and the strength to resist the temptations of my friends to lure me back into sin. In Jesus name. Amen.

If you have been lured back by your friends, it isn't too late and I encourage you to return to your first love by saying the prayer below:

Lord Jesus, have mercy on me for I have sinned and let you down. Please, draw me back to you with your blood and love. In Jesus name.Amen.

Attend a church if you do have one and if you don't find one nearby. Also, visit this site daily.

God bless you.

This is one of my biggest concerns as a christian. It's unfortunate how people time and time again put not only friends but soo many other things before God, either consciosly or unconsciously and even when told, they fail to see the point. I also wonder (heart achingly though) when will this madness end??
