SUCCESS OF OTHERS SHOULD NOT CAUSE ENVY WITHIN YOU BUT CHALLENGE YOUThe success of others shouldn't cause resentment, envy, jealousy and hatred within your heart but rather challenge you to excel and do better. It should challenge you to get up early to put in the necessary sacrifice needed to achieve success. Instead of critising the works of others, endeavour to be successful by showing how to do things better. As a Christian and creation of God, you can do anything and achieve everything you desire to do and should rather compose a list of how you may achieve a task on paper rather than why you can't achieve something. No success is without a price to be paid. Some are more costly that others but you will eventually get there.
The Pharisees and Sadducees were jealous of the workings and achievements of Jesus and that is why they killed Him instead of finding out who He was and how He did the things He did. This is also true for the disciples that were killed like Paul, Peter and Stephen. Sometimes, instead of us admitting our ignorance, short comings and subdue our pride in order to learn something new, we instead cook up ways of how we may ruin the works and achievements of another individual. This is not right before God and shouldn't be. So stop today if you are practicing such.
Remember, your vision will be matched by an equal opposition. The greater your dream, the greater the opposition and mountain you have to climb but God will grant you victory and help making your ascent easier in Jesus name. Amen
